So its a world record, two golds and a silver for the NZ Para-Swim team at the Pan Pacific Para-Swim Championships in California today! In the Womens 400m Free Mary Fisher (S11) swam a world’s best and PB of 05:18.12 to claim the Gold Medal in the Womens 400m Free. Rebecca Dubber swam a brilliant race to claim the Silver medal in her fastest time of 05:32.07 since the #London2012 Paralympic Games. Nikita Howarth was the fastest qualifier for the S7 Women’s 50m Fly. She swam a very determined race and led from the start to record a very fast 0:35.35...another terrific PB for Nikita and a Gold Medal. #Inspirational #Parapanpacs
