So ive been sat here thinking about how unfair life is. I have made it my mission this year to go out of my way to help those who need it, sometimes more than I do sometimes not. But regardless of that, im helping others selflessly. So many things have been on my mind and its the pure fact that life is unfair. Life is tough. Life is hard for each and every one of us. So I grabbed my pen and wrote this. what is wrong with the world? Why is it that every time i turn on the TV i hear that someone has died, not survived? why is it that every time i open the paper an old lady has been mugged, not of a mother of 11 who is massively loved? why is it that you get a phone call from an old friend who says their mother has weeks left to live, not to talk about the argument you had that they want to forgive? why is it that a single mother 2 doors away has too many bills she can’t afford to pay yet a family of asylum seekers are going on holiday? Why is it that you wake up everyday and go to a job you hate, yet there are bankers making millions trading the exchange rate? why is it that every time I turn on the radio I hear of another plane hitting the ground, not of a young boy who was once lost and now found? Why is it that so many people suffer silently from a life of misery and pain when all people care about is their own fame? Why is it that most people only care about their flashy watch or car when their are people on the streets with only a guitar? Why is it that the world is so messed up and full of greed? When all it would take to make a change is a simple, good deed.
