So just drove an hour to work on my day off, with my own computer, to sit there with a dick bag for 3.5 hours teaching him how to take sounds from his old pod and put them on his new one, whilst he just jammed out and played bad shred riffs. I missed the one game I wanted to watch this week end, also all the others, now get to drive another hour home, to be hours late to hanging out with my girlfriend, something we rarely get to do. He insisted that he pay me some thing (I never suggested he shouldnt, quite the contrary in fact) so he threw $50 on the bench as we packed up. one on one tech support from any retailer cost about $80 an hour, so thats $280 Let alone at 7:00pm on my saturday night after I drive from the other side of the country to do it. Safe to say its not ever happening again and he gets charged double for any more repairs. I love helping people out and im more than happy to, but im over being under valued and used. From today onwards, I charge just like every one else or people dont get it.
