So, just tryna chill & enjoy the winter holidays (Im agnostic, so Im not picky- theyre all good! Bring em on!) but I keep seeing manufactured outrage everywhere. Dumb stories about people fighting over dumb yard ornaments (I like those inflated stick-figure things myself- the ones that whip around in the wind. But I digress). Dumb people freaking out about greeting people during the holidays, just really silly stuff. Then I see a bunch of Church Lady-ish tsk, tsk- ing people for standing up for their rights and blah blah blah blah. A few years ago, I jokingly asked a friend if the 60s happened in Gods country. He was offended. I was surprised. I know they did, because there are pictures of it on the walls at Coffman Union. What happened? Whats with all the tight-assery & conformity? SO not Jesus-y, man. Can I just reflect on him & everybody elses gods & what they mean this time of year in my own way like I have all my life? Kthanks UR the best XOXOXOXO.
