So just want to make a correction. Yesterday I posted that I was excited to be working with children/youth that migrated to the US illegally. Id like to edit that and say that I will be working with children and youth who are undocumented. The use of the word illegall carries a strong stigma which I dont want to perpetuate. I dont want to be another person adding to the criminalization of these childrens efforts to migrate to other countries for a better life. Thanks Luis Ramirez for making me aware of this. It is our duty to be agents of change and we can only do that if we are willing to learn from one another. #agentsofchange #withcolleagueslikeminetheworldislookinglikeabetterplace
