So just wondering if any of you know that musicians do not play for free? Some places have no cover charge but you pay a lot more for your drinks. Some places have a high cover charge and high drink prices. One place has an always LOW cover charge on Saturday nights AND drink specials. This place will NEVER have more than a $5 cover charge. That is the highest. It is most often less than that. You can go to one venue and pay a ridiculous cover and higher priced drinks. You can go to another bar with no cover and pay more for your drinks or you can go to a place that is just straight up, fair, clean, honest, great service, great sound, dance floor, full new menu. And yes I know of the 2 other places that also run specials and have no cover. But there are other business reasons that make that possible, so no debate necessary there. Cue Club of Wisconsin offers a WAMI nominated venue to eat, drink, dance, shoot pool, foos ball, shuffle board, darts or listen to a quality band. All at really great prices. Seems unbeatable to me.
