So last Sunday I stood in my office looking out the window at the property and the house that we had purchased. We were going to take up an offering that morning to have the building torn down! We needed $5000! I was going to walk over there and stand on the land and pray over it, that we would collect all the money we needed. Instead I stood in my office realizing I dont need to go stand on that land to pray over it! I stood in my office and prayed Lord let us collect all of the money that we need for this house but more than that, let your will be done! We collected $2100. I was a little disappointed but still thought thats pretty awesome that we got even that much! I was just glad that God had provided what He did and that His will was truly done! Later that day I got a call from a family who said they wanted to donate $5000! I thought. Thats too stinking awesome. Thank you Lord! I got a call in a couple days to come by and pick up a check! When I did they had made the check out, on purpose, for $8000!!! As Im driving, it hits me! $8000 + the $2100 is over twice as much as what we actually needed! Thank you Lord for giving us exceedingly abundantly above all that we could ask or imagine! With all the baptisms weve had and things like this, somebody tell me God isnt moving at LSCC!!
