So, last month, my eldest bird had passed on. I had him for 11 years, and I have no idea how old he was when I rescued him. He was my beloved tiel, kept my gcc, Jack, company. Jack still flies in the area where Cal used to be. I know hes looking for his friend. Jack is still playful, being the 2 year old he is. My family has suggested getting another bird and although I was originally against it, feeling that I didnt want a replacement, I realized it was probably the best option actually. Although I might not be ready to get over Cals passing, Jack certainly needs a companion. You see, I work 3-4 days a week and Im gone between four to six hours a day, depending. Jack and I spend hours together but my company isnt enough, especially on the days Im out. If anyone, is in the Chicago area, who would want to give a gcc a forever-home. Please let me know. Of course, Id still like the option of naming him/her. So, please message me if you have an offer.
