So last night Aaron let me be the first person (that I know of) to read part of his book. I know you will think this is a biased opinion but it is REALLLLLLLLY good. Its factual, written in a way that even I could understand it (not too many big words and I didnt need a dictionary, LOL), and it read like a story, but stuck with historical truths and not a ton of embellished BS... it reminded me very much of something Hampton Sides might have written - it really did!!! Obviously Aaron doesnt have hands on knowledge of things that happened 400 years ago, but he has somehow managed in all his research to dig up court documents, criminal records, land sales and war records to tie everything together... a brief of the part I read went from 3 people in England arrested for stealing hankies from rich people, then being shipped to America and sentenced to 7 years working as a servant, then to go on to fight in the Revolution and even the telling of a battle where there is enough detail to make you go - DAMN!!!!! And all of it is documented FACTS... oh well, enough about this - Im really proud of him and cant wait for him to finish the book so he can print them up and go on a book tour - cuz Im going to try to drag my ass along and turn it in to a house concert tour for me too so we can road trip together in Sophia...
