So last night, I took my medication, include the pain meds. Plans were to go this morning into the hospital. Instead Im delaying this. Sometime during the night, my plumbing started working again and the pain has greatly subsided from the bladder. The hip pain, for now is in check with the pain meds. Instead of having to wait 10+ hours just for the bladder to be looked at. Then who knows how long for the x-ray for the hip. I calculated it would be faster just to see my urologist today or tomorrow and my GP to green light an X-ray that I can (oddly enough) get at the same hospital. The ER and Immediate Care centers at Lutheran General are actually slower than having me go this route. Hopefully before the docs greenlight both, the hip pain or the urinary shut down wont kick in again. To everyone who wished me well, I say thank you. You folks rock.
