So last night at Peyton Place, Guilty Pleazure and fans raised $351 for the #Buckleup fund. Meanwhile at Lakeside Tavern, the Chris Low Band raised approx $300. Meanwhile at Tokio Store, Giblet Head raised $170. On a Wednesday. In Central Texas. Rewind to Tuesday night when Michael Saldana brought in somewhere around $350 from his gig. What does this tell me? 1. These musicians have got some real pull in this town and theyre using it to get positive things done. 2. The live music just isnt in in our area rumor is false. 3. If you are a musician in need, you have several hundred brothers and sisters who will do their best to take care of you and work toward meeting your needs as far as their collective resources will let them. The bottom hasnt been found yet. Long live live, loud, local music!
