So last night toward the end of my set I noticed I had about 5 minutes left. I proceeded to tell the following performer known as Dirt Monkey that I would play one more tune and then I would remove myself from the standard dj position and that he could begin to move in and do his thang. A few moments later I gave a shoutout to the crowd and (politely) announced the DJ who would be following. To my surprise, Patrick (Dirt Monkey), then asked if I would like a beer and handed me one (without poring any liquid what so ever on me) and then began his set. Afterward we kicked it for a while and both had a good time (I think) chatting it up with each other and our ladies. All Im saying is be nice, be humble, and respect everyone. Plus, you might even get a beer out of it. ;)
