So last night was interesting... went to go drop a friend off at their car after some training about 1am and then another coworker got dropped off. We were talking when a suspicious male walked up and once we wouldnt give him what he wanted he pulled a knife that had about a 10 1/2 inch blade. I took no time to react and grabbed my 1911 off the seat and stepped out of the vehicle. Before displaying it I told the male to leave, he refused and said hed cut me too, I displayed my 1911 and he still said he wasnt scared. I racked a round into the chamber and he stated it probably wasnt real and took a step towards me. At this time I fired a round into the air and stated get out of here or the next one wont be a warning. With his eyes wider than a half dollar he quickly walked away and told us to f off. He got arrested and I got off with a handshake and a congrats by the police. Chalk one up for responsible gun owners.
