So last night, with all my suitcases, things seemed to be going pretty well, except for my laptop falling out of one of my suitcases and smacking hard on the airport floor (thankfully okay), and I got all the big suitcases loaded onto a luggage cart. Then I was steering it outside towards the place to get picked up by a bus for the rental car place, and the weight of the cart got away from me just enough that the front wheel went off the curb. Thankfully a guy helped me pull it back up, but when we did, all the suitcases fell off on the other side on a group of men standing there. haha THEY helped me get them back on the cart. Then the bus driver put them on for me, which was so nice. So then I got off at the rental car place and right before I got on the elevator to go down where the cars were, I thought to myself....Wow, this seems easier than I thought! Then I had a sick feeling and started counting bags. Sure enough, I was missing one. Not just one, but the one with everything in it that I needed for the speaking engagements and vintage presentation!!!! I figured that bus had already left and wondered how long Id have to wait for it to come around again. And the problem is they werent labeled specific rental car brands like most airports, they were just generic buses, so I would have had to wait for all of them to come around. Thankfully, when I went out, there stood the guy with my bag. Then I got them down the elevator to my rental car, loaded up, and then couldnt find my phone. Looked everywhere and was worried Id have to go up, and then found it in my coat pocket. Whew! After that, everything was a breeze. Oh, but today all my money was missing out of my purse. I thought for sure someone took it at the airport, but then I remembered I put it in the cup holder of my rental car because I was dying of thirst and thought I might pull into a drive through to get a drink on my way to Martas and then forgot to stop. End of story. :)
