So last week we were at the ER with Peyton this week we were at the doc and imaging center with Hailey! Peyton is doing MUCH better and we know know that Hailey has Sinding -Larson-Johansson Syndrome ( a painful knee condition that commonly affects kids and teens during rapid growth also affects many athletes. When you are growing the patellar tendon attaches to the growth plate at the bottom of the kneecap,repetitive stress on the tendon causes the tendon and kneecap to become inflamed) unfortunately she could be in pain for months! we will get the results of her Xray monday( to be sure no bone has broken off). She has to wear a knee brace everyday while the pain persists and MUST wear it during ALL sports activities! Glad to have answers just hate knowing the pain will last a while longer. So we are never bored around this house!
