So lets sum up nemo33 in Brussels as a quick weekend break. Value for money? 3 Out of 10. Rather pricey to get here. Ease of access - 4 out of 10, not clear how far away it is unless u know where youre going. Excitement level? 3 out of 10. Rather disappointing on how little there is in it. Return appeal ? 1 out of 10, we wont be back. Transport in the city, 7 out of 10, again once u know where youre going its great. Trams, metro and buses everywhere. Communication issues? Most people speak English, French will help or Dutch and German. Was rather proud of Ms hunters ability to keep French in my head lol. 9 out 10. Eating healthy? 1 out of 10. Prepare for chocolate, waffles and beer. I found it really hard to get veggies or fruit with a meal. Cost? 5 out of 10. Food is expensive, taxis are crazy prices, beers expensive and usual tourist traps are expensive. Overall experience 5 out of 10 maybe.
