So many bicycles on such a dangerous road! Anyone who is familiar with Macopin Road, knows that the Bloomingdale end of Macopin is a steep climb up a twisting narrow road with 40 mph traffic and no shoulders. This road takes out pedestrians regularly! The kids who work in the camps (for under-privileged) walk this road at night to this bar (now closed). Even when they carry flashlights, the come up too fast on the very dark winding road. On the really winding parts, crossing the road takes educated ears! No place for bicycle clubs! Pass the word . . .
