So... many for many years I have watched Its A Wonderful Life on my Birthday. The ending just leaves one with a warm feeling every time. I have it on a VHS tape. Does that make me old because I still have a VHS player ? LOL An interesting trivia point. Jimmy Stewart was a WW II hero having been the pilot of a bomber that flew many missions over Germany. He showed great courage under Fire and eventually rose to the rank of Brigadier General. He had many invitations to play movie roles as a military person but stating he was sick of war he turned them all down. He initially thought he was too old (36) to play the young George Bailey opposite Donna Reed (25) This was the first role he accepted after he returned from the war.
