So many memories.Dingo battled severe colitis all his life, I almost lost Dingo at the age of 4 to Lymes. Then he had a shoulder injury so at 6 or 7 yrs old i moved him to preferred in akc. He despite a huge defense area earned his novice obedience title, his novice Rally title. He also earned his P1, P2, P3 USDAA agility titles and his MXJ and AX in AKC. He earned his novice tunnelers and jumpers in NAdac. At around 8 or 9 dingo was unable to compete due to spondylosis of his spine, which led to severe arthritis in his hips, knees, complete torn right cruciate and partially tearing the right. He has managed for the past 2 years to keep going even my vet didnt know how. He absolutely loved to run with me, we werent super fast and had our boo boo runs but he sure would have some moments of briliance and give me a wonderful run. . He made his own fun, like the time Dingo left me in Exc B std class to cross the ring and take the chute. Oh how he loved his tunnels. Our very first ever trial was at Berks with Kary Starling and her sheltie C-sea. kary was his favorite person, she took the time to look beyond his gruff exterior and they formed a wonderful bond. Janet Herr was a favorite human, he loved Janets rescue girl, Molly and Janet was the reason I got into agility. Cathleen Markley was a favorite too. Lynn Bryrem and her Dalmation were good buddies too. he didnt much like running in the rain and he once stayed in the tunnel in a downpour run at a Bloomsburg trial. Remember it would always rain good at least one day. He was so proud of himself at the end of each run waving at me and running to get his chicken. he had his issues, he had been attacked twice so his defense area was huge when he was with me. He often snarled but we never had a problem as i managed his distance with other dogs and most competitors would allow us space, something I was always grateful for. I will miss his barking at me when I come home, licking my toes, head between my knees for a cuddle, always ready for a snack and for being a good dog to have welcomed all the new dogs we have bought home. Rest in peace buddy and give my love to Bruiser and Heidie when you cross the bridge
