So many people I talk with think that their voice will do no good. In fact it is the voice of the individual, unmanipulated and truthful, that will shape this debate. the process that has occurred prior to this point is tainted and at best and less than representative of the people or those the law serves. No one can listen to the stories of your existence and not be moved. Witnessing the challenges of your lives changed me forever. If you call them on the 14th and share with them what the law means to you they will understand the impact the law and changes to the law would have on your lives. It is important, that in Michigan, an agricultural state, that real people be able to farm the land, and participate in a multibillion dollar economy. The lobbyist and special interest groups that are trying to steal your law, should not be rewarded, but should be run out of town on a rail. At this point it is important that everyone weigh in. Not just those with a stake in the money game. I am not asking you to protest at this point, just participate. No one will come after you for doing that. Its called democracy. Its the way things are done.
