So many people are asking and there are a lot of rumors flying lol so let me clarify... The Food Pantry of North Branford will be a corporation. This status will allow us to be affiliated with The Connecticut Food a Bank. 1. The Connecticut Food Bank does not decide who gets food from our pantry. They are a huge group and we are partners with the same goal to relieve hunger 😁 2. Our affiliation with The Connecticut Food Bank will enable us to purchase food for 14 cents a pound and at times we will get certain items for free. 3. You will NOT have to file financial paperwork to receive supplemental groceries from our pantry. 4. You will have to show you live in either North Branford or Northford by presenting a picture ID and let us know how many people live in the household by presenting either school records or birth certificates. 5. We realize if you go to a pantry you need assistance and we will be there to help! If anyone has questions please dont hesitate to call. This is a positive project which will provide a fabulous service to our community. Nothing more, nothing less. I hope this helps - please have a great day! 👼✌️☀️
