So mom placed her new check in a safe location and then promptly forgot where that location was. She was worried sick looking in various locations and everyone that came here looked in various locations ... tonight I practically tore her bedroom apart ... Then I went back downstairs to check her filing cabinet, while waiting for her to get off the phone. I started in the back and found these two gray like plastic non-nondescript looking envelopes. I thought that they were closed ... but nope ... A few moments later I had a great pain in my foot as a series of checkbooks proceed to fall out the unseen open end and onto my left foot ... so mom is SO happy ... at least the 2 lb weight was just sitting out in the open ... that would have been a little more painful.
