So most of you that know me well, know that I tend to ramble sometimes...my apologies ahead of time, always! But if theres ever a good time to ramble on, nows the time! This is for anyone and everyone fighting through a challenge in your life...Thank you to Danielle Lambert for giving me the extension so that I could properly complete my social media part of the #icebucketchallenge thats amazingly become such an internet sensation! What an absolutely ingenious way to get people to raise money for such a worthy cause!!! Its amazing to see so many people follow suit and get in on the fun! Helping others can be very contagious so lets keep this going! Like many of you, I am also donating to the ALS Association via their website at alsa.org. (On a side note, I think my college journalism professors would not be so happy about the many, many ums in my little speech! Whoops! Im a little rusty on my public speaking; what can I say?!) Before I go on, Id like to throw a quick shout out to my little man, Patrick, for jumping in and dousing me in ice cold water! I know he enjoyed it! So here we go...I am challenging the following people to get iced (and I must say, thoroughly looking forward to seeing all of your videos!) To my lovely friend Kimberly Evans McGaugh; my awesome brother Allen Forrester, and my amazing tattoo artist Marc Fairchild and his two daughters Cylest and Leigh Ann - its youre turn to jump in on the action! I wish I could have called on many more of my friends because I know the majority of you would have participated and made this just as fun as I did! Not to mention, the biggest part here is to raise awareness and funding for the research of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, also commonly known as Lou Gehrigs Disease. So with that said....lets continue this campaign to #strikeoutals! Lets make it happen folks! #teamgleason #nowhiteflags
