So much adventure in the last 24 hours, setting up fire in pitch black, barbecuing dinner at 3 am, sleeping under the stars in the desert sand... or in my case not sleeping, watching the sunrise, climbing beautiful mountains, swimming in caves, climbing more and getting higher and higher, seeing a herd of mountain goats in the wild, cooking authentic Arabic food and sharing with 40 other friends on carpets rolled out.... And lastly..... Getting detained and interrogated in a small cell for 8 hours lol. Betcha didnt see that one coming. Lol. But I carved my initials in my cell so they wont forget me lol. Besides the last part, although can always be worse this was the most incredible adventure and experience. When I was standing on the mountain top out of breath from the climb, I teared up a little just in awe of the wonderous beauty of nature and the universe. A picture can only reproduce the sense of sight but being present in the moment.... there is so so much more then just sight...standing their looking out isnt a sight, its entire feeling. I continually remind myself of how blessed I am for this opportunity and the adventure that lays ahead. Well after those crazy 24 hours and major sleep deprivation I shall sleep in an actual bed now. Goodnight world, may you embrace the next adventure that waits for you!
