So much of the Christian tradition throughout history has been entertainment oriented, and perhaps the greatest sacred cow in Christian entertainment is Christmas. Like most of us who endeavored to honorably live the faith as it had been taught to us, Kirk didnt know the truth about Christian paganism or the need to honor and respect Torah - but with his work on projects like Way of The Master, at least he was doing his best with what he knew. In his presentation at Liberty University, he openly mocks Gods word - both the Torah and the words of our Messiah who challenged those who were choosing tradition over the commandments of God or were mixing the two. He also mocks the messianic remnant that is challenging Christianitys status quo and calling believers in Messiah to live and declare the full word of God and to honor all of the covenants that God has made with His people. It is very troubling to see that entertaining the masses has become more important to Kirk than walking and ministering with humility and truth. Two scriptures are important here. The first is from Proverbs 14:9 - Fools mock at sin, but among the upright there is good will. And Jude 1:18-19 - In the last time there will be mockers, following after their own ungodly lusts. These are the ones who cause divisions and are worldly-minded and devoid of the Spirit. (David McCoy)
