So much time and money is spent on trying to figure out how to get increased voter turnout these days, especially young people. Masses of research grants, academic theory, political think tanks, leafleting,door knocking, t.v. adverts, billboards, all the rest. Its baffling. This is a really important one. Parties are breaking down, and new parties are on the rise. One of these parties is basically single issue, people who are going to vote UKIP will make a point to go down to the booths today, and the polls say theyre going to win. Good for them. Russel Brands lets not vote idea is the single most stupid thing Ive ever heard. If you dont vote you cant complain when our representation is a party who vote no to EVERYTHING tabled at a European level (EVEN IF IT HELPS THE UK). Its people who dont think theyve got a dog in the fight that piss me off the most. It doesnt matter who you vote for just go vote.
