So my BIRTHDAY is less than twenty four hours away and I have somewhat of a request. But before all that I just want to communicate how thankful and grateful I feel to have lived such an amazing life thus far. I am so honored and inspired by so many of you. The courage, the love, the work ethic, I see in so many friends and fam alike astounds me. Thank you a million times. I love you. I dont spend a lot of time promoting myself, I cant really afford to, therefore the majority of this promotion has been done you, through word of mouth human to human social media page to social media page, connecting friends and fam to the work. I am super grateful. Its astounding to see how far its spread (All the way to Australia son! Its probably like two people in Australia but still. Lol Austrailia) without a marketing team or record label behind it. Every week someone reaches out to me and comments about the music and new listeners emerge everyday. My plan is to create a campaign for The Funky Autopsy called Ten Thousand Listeners in the coming months, where those of you who support my work will be able to pick up or order a handful of CDs and give them to people in your community that you trust to listen to the project. All of this (fingers crossed) will be sponosored. Sort of like advertising via giving the music directly to the people for free. The notion is to invest in the listeners with the idea that they will return the investment by listening, promoting, and eventually attending shows etc. Anyways thats neither here nor there. More on that later.
