So my Math professor was a complete asshole to me in front of my entire class when I was trying to bring to attention the that the steps in a solution problem is easiest memorized by using the process of elimination. I did not interrupt him, I had raised my hand, so it was not like I needed to be reprimanded or anything, I had not even had an opportunity to really begin my question/comment when he decided to tell the class that I should not share my personal experience and struggles because it would probably confuse the class....my jaw dropped on my desk and the entire class went dead silent....I then mustered up the courage to get out that I am sorry he thinks that way but when studying with fellow students we all found that the best way to memorize the steps to this particular problem was to just remember the process of elimination. I could not concentrate the entire rest of the class and all my study buddies were giving me sad faces. I actually sat and waited until everyone left and told him I thought he was very mean (that was the nicest way I could think to put it) and he never apologized and he wound up agreeing with me about sharing that info with the class...I however am still having a hard time letting it go. I have witnessed him do this now three times, the other two seemed debatable or I tried giving him the benefit of the doubt but shit man I need a Math Professor with patience and who like teaching, its hard enough for me as it is....so frustrating.
