So my attempts at utilizing my extensive knowledge of Ally McBeal expertise to fight my case didnt prove to be as successful as I had hoped but Im alive and its Christmas and as I have done so many times before - will rise above the red (plus I still looked fabulous). So much love and gratitude for the Angels we meet on these journeys. Sat and cried and laughed again with a sweet Armenia woman who just lost her mother and a darling South American guy who was a nice reflection of myself ten years ago. Both sadly also had judgement and prejudice by their officers which says something important. I dont condone or support the actions happening to our law enforcement but do hope for reformation and renovation - because these acts and practices of bigotry are all too common. But Alas - the human spirit is intrepid and we are on the path to full humanity. And - when you can end an uncomfortable situation with laughter - hugs - and candy canes between strangers now friends - well thats a reason to celebrate.
