So my broski Nick Saulsbury picked me to post five songs in five days that have a special place in my heart. So here is the first one. I went all the way back to the beginning with this one. I was only like 4 or 5 when i first saw the Transformers animated movie. Not only was I a huge Transformers fan but the soundtrack blew me a way. It consisted of 80s metal and some 80s pop. The first time I heard the metal Transformers theme song by Lion it flipped some type of switch in my mind and it sent young me into a frenzy. Even though I largely ignored music till my early teens this song and the rest of the soundtrack laid the foundation for my love of heavy metal. youtube/watch?v=GOhnKIVLzOw
