So my buddy Kane Brueggert drove all the way from Alabama to chill with me this weekend. We have been training around a few different locations and jamming on our guitars but one thing really pissed me off. We were practicing different flips into the pool (which is pretty massive if you ask me) and I was told by one of the managers that we had to stop. Now normally I would be completely okay with this because she said we were splashing other people but considering two things 1) as I said earlier, this pool is massive. Kinda goes along with the saying Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. If you got splashed on the initial flip then I would have sincerely apologized but there were like 10 people in the pool and plenty of room to share. 2) When I first moved in I showed several people in the front office a couple of my videos and explained to them what it is that I do for fun. I then asked if I would be allowed to practice those things around the facility and was told that they thought it was cool and I could definitely do that. I guess I figured that of all places they would allow me to do flips, the pool would definitely be at least in the top 5 because I am less likely to get injured but apparently even if you have prior approval sometimes that still wont prevent people from being rude. Best part is, the lady who said something to us is one of the first people I showed my videos to and she also gave me the okay to practice there. Normally I dont get pissed off easily but this was just resonating in my brain and I needed to vent. Thanks for listening Venting session over...
