So, my daughter had a big book drop on her laptop yesterday. Apparently, the hard drive couldnt take the shock and developed quite the head cold. So, it was off to the land of Linux bootable CDs and trying to restore data to USB drives and taking disk images of her other sisters machine so that I could take an older SATA drive and reimage it so she could use her computer again by this morning. Oh, thats right, even if theres only 100 GB of data on the image, it still takes a 500GB image, which unfortunately wont fit on a 320GB HD. I discover this at 2:30 am, unfortunately. Sigh. #triptobestbuy #sleepygeek
