So my daughter is in the state of md healthy smiles ins program . She has a true medical need for braces...... Upper right canine did not erupt as expected.......so the only way to bring it down in its correct position is too attach a chain to the tooth. Done and paid for thru ins..... She has been denied orthodontics because the rest of her teeth look fine ! Can u believe the narrow minded view of the insurance co ? The independent doctors have stated that her orthodontic work is absolutely medically necessary !
