So my friend Traci tells me that the Aggressive Secret Police masquerading as Walt Disney World employees at Magic Kingdom were not the usual sort. All I can say is, the dude screaming, MISS POPPINS IS OUT FOR A STROLL PLEASE STEP BACK NOW in a very back the eff off or Ill cut you tone scared my kids off any other Disney characters. And that was merely how the day began! It was also not fun learning the bracelets had gotten all mixed up and assigned to the wrong people (really? my husband wanted a pink one? really?). Or being shoved by parade helpers to opposite sides of the street so my family got split up. Or standing in line for nearly an hour only to be told the ride was broken. Or waiting for 20 minutes for our table reservation in a nearly empty restaurant, walking by all the empty tables and getting seated *right by* the kitchen door only to get bumped repeatedly while eating the overcooked yet soggy panini. And on and not great on. Maybe it was just a Monday and the Happiest Place on Earth can have a case of the Mondays too. All I can say is it cured my kids of EVER wanting to go to anything Disney ever again. They wont even watch the Disney channel they hate Disney so much. And for all that? SO WORTH EVERY PENNY AND MISERABLE HOUR!! Thank you so much for totally sucking when we visited, Mickey Mouse! You have made me the happiest mom on earth!!!
