So my kids post snippets of lines from songs, and often its sounds like OMG, my babies, and then they tell me online... Uh, no, mom. its a song... ((#youreadweebmom! COUGH! COUGH!) Happened again, and I got to thinking why old fogies like me dont write rock & roll songs (only the old fogies who invented the genre). So I think Im going to think of some songs . So you know that song Anna Kendrick sings Youre going to to miss me when Im gone If a middle aged mom like me wrote it, the stanza would continue... one day youll have children like yourselves, Im gonna sit here in the dark, Go, have fun at the park, just saying youre gonna miss me when Im gone... Or... (To the tune of Somebody that I used to know The part where she shuts him out)... You didnt have to leave your socks, strewn all over the place, pick up these dishes!
