So, my phone died at work tonight. Not a surprise, just like every other shift I work. I got off 4 hours early. Score! Get home, have to park as far away from my building as possible because its 3am and obviously (almost) everyone is home. Walk up to the door of my building and realize that half of my key is broken off and missing. Fantastic. Go to call my brother, and oh wait my phone is still dead. Get in my car, wait for my (sketchy at best) phone charger to charge it enough to turn on. Call my brother and tell him I need to come get his key at work. His work is usually 5 minutes away from our apartment. Except for tonight, of all nights, hes at the station in Irvington (why wouldnt he be?). So I drive my happy ass all the way to Irvington (exactly where I want to be at 4am), get my key and finally get home. My 0330 bedtime turned into more like 0445, but as is my life.
