So, my son Grae was at school on lunch, watching some kids - TopicsExpress

So, my son Grae was at school on lunch, watching some kids throwing rocks and shooting rubber bands at something in the outside rafters. Suddenly a little bat fell and my son jumped and ran to save it from the kids. He picked up the little bat and carried it into the office to get help and let them know what happened. A Mr Chambers came out and told my son, You need to take that back outside and let it go, my son told him no because it was hurt. Mr Chambers then told my son, If you dont take it outside then I will call the patrol officer and have him deal with you. Seriously? You are going to call the cops on a kids who is doing something right, defending a small animal that was hurt by other students? To me this made no sense, so I called the school, and had a heated argument with Mr Chambers, and it was true, he did threaten my son. He even had the nerve to tell me that he had the right to threaten him with it and accused me of cursing at him, and well, I snapped at him and totally went off. He hung up on me. The worst part of all this is Grae did nothing wrong, and was threatened to have cops called on him for doing something right. I have also called the school board over it as well, and am waiting for them to call me back. All they had to do was find a box for him to put it in and call animal control and give it to them, but no, he decided it is better to threaten a child instead of doing the right thing.
