So my son relapsed... he has a 3cm tumor in the right hip socket... and a soft tissue tumor in the left thigh.. Good news is this time we wont need to do the 5 day chemo cyle/2 day cycle... he will go in for vindchristine on Wednesdays which takes about 10 mins... 2 weeks on ..1 week off.. he also has to to do chemo orally with a liquid and pill names of them i cant even spell or say lol but we are heartbroken but we will not be defeated ,,, this is just a step back but we wil fight hard ,, Considering how bad he was on the 1st diagnosis back on 12/21/12 this seems like nothing.. in 2012 he had a massive tumor in his left tibia that grew tentacles and traveled up to the thigh and groin,, he couldnt walk, it was in his lungs and right tibia. after 14 aggressive treatments he was cancer free 9/13... DEC 2013 scans were clear.... but last week these 2 popped up.... He will have 25 rounds of radiation .5 weeks worth ... No kid should be robbed of their life and have to fight like this.. kids should be having fun playing, driving, and doing fun things,,,, but like i said its a small step back and this will pass . we will beat the beast once again since it didnt learn its lesson last time... thank you for all your support and prayers.. Oh and this wednesday they will put his port back in,,,, Love and hugs to all of you !!!
