So my sweet girl got a VERY SPECIAL visit today....Santa can SKYPE from the North Pole can you believe it....LOL well as of today surgery has been postponed. Came into ER as an admit to GI with a high fever and no ostomy output. Only to find out she has the flu...bummed BUT thankful in the way God works couldve been s dangerous situation had they operated today with us not knowing anything. So the plan for now is she will be monitored closely to make sure she stays stable and will begin 100% nutrition thru her NG tube. Surgery is being postponed at least six weeks from when she gets well unless more complications arise that make it emergent to operate. She is having good/bad moments throughout the day. She still has a fever of 102 and is confined to her room which is hard for this girl but shes gotten lots of arts and crafts to build for Christmas so thats good. Hopefully if Lord sees fit we will be home for Christmas! Drs are still at a loss as to WHY this is happening and it looks like we will deal with issues until surgery but even then theres no guarantee that things will be fixed and work normally. No big deal for this girl...my hero no doubt! Please keep her in your prayers as well as my other sweet girls theyve been without mommy for over a month and its been hard on them but they have been such troopers loving on each other, helping with living our few short days home.... Please pray livi takes well to the meds she is receiving and stays stable. I cant THANK my parents enough for helping as much as they have. I love them dearly and I cant say thank you enough to those all over who lift us up in prayers, love and support. That makes the days/nights easier to bear knowing theres people praying. I will post again when we have more news but for now....MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL
