So, my weekend was great. On Friday night, I went to WInter Jam in Cleveland with my amazing boyfriend, Nick, and his twin sister Sara and her boyfriend and their church youth group and had an awesome time. My favorite group out there was still, by far Plumb! :) On Saturday I went to my sister, Kaileys house and we cleaned the barn and ate dinner and hung out there and our brother Dustin came over and it was a blast. Sunday was good up until a point. We got up early to clean the barn before the farrier came to do the horses feet and after he was done trimming them, we all decided to go on a trail ride. It was Kailey on Buddy, Dustin on Blaze, Travis on Diego and me on RB. The ride was going great and we were all having fun. After a little bit, we decided to head home because it was getting cold, so we headed back and for those of you who have ever been on the trail rides with us, know about the big hill. Well, RB, the horse I was on, decided, hey, this hill looks fun to run down, and as a result he slid from what I understand, and I did a front flip over his head and hit my head on the ground, hard. RB ran towards the barn, I jumped up and grabbed Buddy and Kailey jumped on Blaze to catch RB. Just so everybody knows, I am okay. I have a slight headache still, but I am sure that is normal with any head injury. We all had helmets on. RB is also okay, he ran towards the barn and was caught and taken care of. This is RB. I am not scared of him, and I will still continue to ride him and work with him. He is an amazing horse, he just slipped. I see people that fall off of their horses and never get back on at TCTC because they are afraid. There is nothing to be afraid of because I am telling you right now, that horse could of been high, but most of the time, the rider let it happen and it could of been resolved. The horse I fell off of is about Spikes size. I dont ever want to stop riding. It is a lot of fun and I will take every opportunity I get. That is why I always ask to get on another horse when mine is taken. If you dont want me to take your horse, speak up or shut up. Dont talk about me behind my back.
