So my wife is lying to me. Apparently, while discussing with her manager her desire to cut a lot of length off her hair, one of our co-workers cautioned her that she had better consult me first; that I might have something to say about her plan. SHE says that she doesnt remember who says this. Shes lying. Shes lying because she knows full well that if I knew who it was, I would publicly shame, embarrass, and verbally cut to pieces this putz who thinks so little of equality and thinks so little of ME that I would be so insecure an asshole as to try to exert control over my wife. And it would not be pretty. Though I really want to know, and though I abhor lying above all else, I appreciate that she is keeping this from me so as to keep the peace and not allow me to compromise my effectiveness by going off on some putz. (Yes, most would be admiring, but there exists the chance that some people might be leery of being as forthright and as open in conversation with me or with my operatives as they are now.)
