So nice to see in the NY Times NoStyle section today a celebration ( I use the word deliberately) of the release from prison after 17 years of Michael Alig, the so- called Club Kid killer, who suffocated and dismembered fellow club kid Angel. The article talks about how his friends and publicist, and his jokes about prison fashion and his plans to tweet ( he has, of course, a twitter account with 29,500 followers), resume partying and start a blog. He has already given interviews with the Times, People, VanityFair, Huffington Post, Inside Edition and the Rolling Stone, among others. Great to have you back, Michael. Hope to party with you soon. Good Lord, what has our civilization come to???
