So, Notch decided to pull Oculus Rift support for Minecraft after Facebook bought Oculus, because he was into it as an indie thing, but when they sold out to Facebook, he was no longer interested. And now, the rumors are that Microsoft is buying Mojang (makers of Minecraft) Granted, its for 2 BILLION dollars (strangely enough the EXACT amount that Oculus sold to Facebook for...) I guess it just disappoints me. It shifts the narrative of indie development success. Maybe it doesnt shift it in a bad way, but.. I liked the story better when it was A Great Idea conquering the marketplace all by itself.
