So not only do we want to encourage people to get out and exercise but we think the ResQwalk app is awesome and want to encourage people to use it to raise $$$ for rescues. We are going to have a little contest for our Ottawa and area followers to encourage everyone to get walking for rescue! We have an Absolute Comedy night planned for August and have already purchased the tickets. We will award 2 free tickets to the person who logs the most distance walked in the month of July. At the end of July we will post a status asking everyone to share a screen shot of their app to show their total distance logged. Tell your friends and make it a friendly competition! We have also inquired about the app being available for all smart phones other than just the Iphone.
