Then suddenly, my ears perked up when the Vietnamese woman said something about how were coming up on when they celebrate the baby in the cave...to which the Jewish woman attempted to explain that the baby Jesus was in a manger, and the word Nativity was stated repeatedly to no avail. No, its when the baby is in the cave. So the Jewish woman said, Well, maybe they dont have mangers in Vietnam, because Jesus wasnt in a cave. And it was at this point I almost did a spit-take with the spicy beef soup, because the third woman started quietly offering something about maybe she means Easter... She wasnt. It was a pretty great night, overall.
