So, now we find out through leaked emails that Sony Executives thought that The Interview was desperately unfunny and another misfire from the pairing. So, once again, Sony most likely knew the movie would tank and used the terrorist threat to halt the marketing money spend and divert attention away from Sony emails like the one that advises Sony Execs to not cast Denzel Washington because foreign audiences are racist. All of them, apparently. Do you realize the absolute firestorm that would be happening if that email was from or sent to Rupert Murdoch or Sarah Palin or Rush Limbaugh, etc? But no, Sony is a victim now. If Im annoying you with these posts, I apologize. Im just fascinated and a little disturbed by how this is being covered by the media and I want to share with you how expertly Sony is handling this and how the media is being led rather than doing any actual journalism. Because this happens in other areas of politics and pop culture as well, and if we can figure it out and call BS on it early, maybe theyll stop assuming were sheep.
