So obviously Dr Dre made a heckuvallota money in music this year, as did some other heavyweights e.g. Eminem, JAY Z, Taylor Swift etc.... The obvious lot.... But just for the record Id like to single out Aqualung (who releases his first new album in 4.5 years, Futures, in 4 weeks) as one of my favourite acts of 2005 (with Strange & Beautiful), 2007 (with Memory Man) &, with any luck, 2015, as well as Dubba Jonny, because his new album is a beautifully crafted, tremendously well thought out and considered collection of tracks that should herald in the year like nothing else could :).... Sorry if I oversold that but I genuinely dont think I have :)! xxx
