Much more sensible to invest that vote in some backwoodsman lobby-fodder who will make sure that the seats in Strangers Bar are kept warm and that the whips dont have to work too hard. No point in squandering that precious vote on the type of person who, according to John Bercow, By sheer force of personality, Parliamentary insistence and dogged commitment to the chamber, the committees, the procedures of the house, she has advanced her causes.
