So on my annual checkup (for a low dose cholesterol med), my doctor says, Wow! You have a low pulse rate. I explained it was hereditary and that I always have had one. Are you a runner? Yes. He wants to do an EKG anyway... fine. Hmmm, looks like there is something Im not understanding. Im going to refer you to a cardiologist. You mean the one I ran a couple of 10Ks with last year, I said? See you soon Dr. Stewart.
