I actually really like the view of a private citizen dismissal because the range of potential uses is infinite: The reprehensibility of violations of international borders and human rights are just the views of private citizens. The irresponsibility of reneging peace-deals between industry associations and environmental groups is just the view of private citizens. The shameful deceptiveness of withholding critical information preceding an election and withdrawing keystone promises shortly after winning is just the view of private citizens. So no biggie, I guess.
